Full-timing in our 24-foot 2006 Forest River Sunseeker 2200 as of June 1, 2011, I've added solar panels and a catalytic heater so that we can camp off-grid comfortably. My dog, Katie, is great company. We traveled a bit in the Western States our first year, and visited the deserts of Arizona and most of the New Mexico State Parks the next four. This year - 2016 - I'm hoping to find a park model to buy so we will have a home base, but we'll continue to travel, too. What a life! :)

*** Third Annual Blogger-Fest - Scheduled for January 28, 2017 ***
Sounds great but unfortunately we won't be able to make it. Take good notes and share them with us on your blog. Looking forward to hearing all about it.
The RV blogging world has given me an enormous wealth of information over the years. Blogs are the first place I turn to for researching new places to travel and new attractions to discover. There are numerous times when I have had problems with something mechanical or technical and found the answer in a fellow traveler's blog. I'm always happy when I open your blog and see a new post!
I know lots of people that write as a source of income and it works well for them. I write mainly so that my family and friends can keep track of my journey and know that I am safe and healthy. It also becomes a journal to chronicle and record my travels. I like to write but my family tells me that sometimes I could use an editor, so I'm not about to turn professional soon. I'm just hoping that some day years from now one of my great grandchildren will find my blog and say, "Look, Grandpa traveled all over the country in this covered wagon thing called a Winnebago!"
Glad they are hosting it and sure hope we can make it. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, Dale. I think you write just great - always interesting, too. Aren't these covered wagons great? :)
