Another free Kindle e-book about RVing

Here's another free Kindle e-book about Rving - Winnebagos in particular, it looks like - available today through

By: Ann Charles

I won't recommend many of these Kindle books, I know non-Kindle owners could care less, but when I see free e-books about RVing, I can't resist. I'm surprised when I see them, it's such a niche market.

I post about these freebies when I see the daily e-mail in the morning, and I order them right away.  I don't know how long they are free, maybe only for that day. I haven't read them when I post, so they might be a hit or a miss, but since they are free and most of us are frugal, they are worth a download if you're interested.

I'm not going to do any reviews, I'm usually in the middle of another book, and it might be a while before I read them.  I'll leave it up to you to decide if you want to download them.  Free e-books are a mixed bag.

My wash and wax guy is just starting on The Palms, so I'll either post later today or tomorrow and let you know how it went.  I'm excited about The Palms being clean and shiny again, but a little anxious about someone blasting water on her and walking on her roof.  He's been doing this for years and some of the really nice big rigs used his services, so I have to figure he knows what he's doing. He washed the Allegro Bus across from me and it looks really nice.  The owner was happy.

From Me and Katie, have a good Monday, everyone!  :)

  1. Books you pay for can be a crap shoot as well! I like the price of the free books. Sometimes an author will be free for the first of a series and then charge for later ones.

  2. Thanks for the tip. There's an app. for the iPad which allows you to download and read Kindle books. Don't forget to download e-books and audio books from your public library.

  3. Thanks - I'll go download right now! I really enjoyed the other one you posted about. A quick fun read. I noticed the other day that it is selling for $2.99 now.

BTW, I was RV shopping (internet only of course) and I saw a Forest River B-plus that had the same upholstery fabric as The Palms. It was lovely!

  4. Thanks for the new read. Just loving my Kindle. BTY, I have started a new blog. It will tell you about what phase I'm in with my rving.

Love your blog I am learning tons of stuff and with no pain or cost-it's the best way.

  5. That was meant to say form Harriet. :o

  6. Thanks for the heads up about the book. I get quite a few for my Kindle/iPad/iPhone. On a list that I get every morning with a list of free books for that day. I also pass them on to my Kindle friends.

  7. I loved the other free book, read it all in an hour. Chuckled all the way through it. Thanks for the tip!

  8. I'll have to figure out how to download books on my IPad.
"My Spot" really needs to get washed, but that's not going to happen while I'm gate guarding with all the dirt and dust.
    I start later today.

  9. As someone else said its always a crap shoot w/ books, if you dont like it what are you out except a little of your time.I have some favorite authors that I generally love their books, but there have been a couple that I thought they were out to lunch on.
    Free is always good.

  10. Susan, just download the kindle app to your iPad. Then when you get a kindle book from amazon, you can find it on your kindle or iPad. If you read on one, it will sync with the other one.

  11. Thanks for the tip on the free e-book. I don't have a Kindle, but I'll check and see if it's available in ePub format as well.

  12. I really like your posts about repairs and upkeep on The Palms...since we have the same rig as you it has helped us alot. Thanks again for your great posts and also the wonderful pictures. Hope to meet you someday, maybe next year at Quartzsite. Have a great week and can't wait to read about The Palms getting her bath!!

Thank you for your comments - we LOVE them!
