Laundry in the desert - TMI?

Men are so funny - they have no problem hanging their "delicates" outside for all the desert walkers to see.  LOL  When I saw a laundry line stretching from an RV to a bush that was lined with men's shorts, I had to take a picture.  I did get permission to post it, but I'm not posting photos of the man.  You're welcome, sir.  :)

Two other interesting photos - first a tarantula in the next campsite.  I was glad he was over there and not close to me and Katie in our campsite.

Katie has been different lately.  This laying on the kitchen floor is so weird.  She always picks the couch, lays next to me on the dinette bench, or sits/lays in her carseat.  Lately she seems to like the smooth, cool kitchen floor.  It hasn't been that hot, so it's not a heat thing.  But I get a kick out of seeing her there.

That's it for now - just a quick post, and I only have a few more photos from this area which I'll post in a few days.  I'm leaving here on Friday.  My annual medical/dental/optical appointments in San Diego are on the books for next week, and I'll start heading that way Friday.

From me and Katie,  take care, everyone!   ❤❤❤

  1. When I was a kid I remember my aunt hanging her undergarments under the sheets on laundry day. Times are a changing!

  3. We always hung clothes on the line in my younger years and mom made sure the delicates were on the inside lines hidden from view. Good luck next week. Skittlez lays like that when she wants food. Katie is such a cutie.

  5. Hi Barbara, I'm going to be in the San Diego area at the same time. Maybe we can get together for lunch. During the week I'll be at Santee Lakes.

    1. Hi Evie - that would have been great, but I'm only there from Tuesday morning through Thursday morning and have family and some friend meet-ups scheduled. It's going to be a real whirlwind. Maybe at Quartzsite? Will you be there this year?

    2. By the way, I love staying at Santee Lakes. It's a great park, and close to everything. Have fun. :)

    3. Yes I'll be in Q sometime this winter but not sure when. Mom and I spend most of our time in the Yuma area but this year have talked about touring around southern AZ. Will keep in touch though and try to get together.

  6. Makes me laugh... I hang out my undies all the time... BUT... I'm really particular that all the tee shirts are in a line, all my panties are in one after the other, Bills tighty whities have to be in a line... all the socks together... you get the picture. IF by chance I missed a pair of undies or the like, I'll actually take the offending order down and reposition the ones I missed. Talk about anal... I probably take the prize! I don't give a whit who sees my drawers or my bras... but I'll be damned if they will be out of order!

    1. That's so funny!! This line was actually full of shorts, they started at one end and the three I showed were at the other. I guess the line would have sagged too much if he stopped in the middle. I was quite impressed with his hand washing his clothes. I remember my mom hanging out all the laundry "back in the day." I might start doing some of my own hand washing. :)

  7. We are at Quartzite until Wednesday. If you are coming thru stop o/n at mm 99 south of Q. On Wednesday we will be moving to our lot at KOFA in Yuma. Maybe we can catch you then too. You have our number and email so get in touch. Would love to see you again. BTW we are going to do NM SP again starting in April. May do all 13 months.

  10. Was wondering if Katie's laying on a cooler flat surface could mean
she is having alittle stomach problem?
If so, I'm sure you will pick up on it.
    Safe travels to you !
