A day or so later, she was walking as if nothing had happened and I have no idea what was wrong.
From me and Katie (who is just fine now), have a great Wednesday, everyone! :)
Full-timing in our 24-foot 2006 Forest River Sunseeker 2200 as of June 1, 2011, I've added solar panels and a catalytic heater so that we can camp off-grid comfortably. My dog, Katie, is great company. We traveled a bit in the Western States our first year, and visited the deserts of Arizona and most of the New Mexico State Parks the next four. This year - 2016 - I'm hoping to find a park model to buy so we will have a home base, but we'll continue to travel, too. What a life! :)

Awwwww, Poor little Katie. Sometimes the same thing happens with Bennie. He is limping and then not. I figure he got something in the paw and somehow managed to get it out.
ReplyDeletePoor Katie. Glad she is better.
ReplyDeletePoor baby. Glad she's OK now. I've had doggies do that. You'll be on the verge to taking them to the vet and then ... it's over. Maybe a little pebble between the pads?
ReplyDeleteHow old is Katie? Could she have a little arthritis? We've always give our pets (dogs and cats) glucosamine as they aged and it has significantly improved any aches and pains of arthritis for them. Me too, I take it. Have a 14 year old cat who was limping like crazy, could find nothing at all wrong with the foot, neither could the vet. Gave her glucosamine in with her wet food and within a month it was about 95% better. Has been ever since.
ReplyDeleteSuch a tiny little foot... she stepped on an ant or a sharp rock ... or a pine cone piece .. aww little thing..
ReplyDeletegot my carpet cleaned and I'm feeling fine on this Wednesday ...
Maybe a piece of that cheat grass got stuck in her paw...and then worked it's way out.
ReplyDeleteI forgot about wordless Wednesday...again!
Have a great day!
That picture of her laying with her foot in the air is very sad.
ReplyDeleteShe's a cutie
Glad Katie is ok! Our Shih Tzus will do that from time to time...just glad she's ok.
ReplyDeleteHave a great Wednesday!
Glad to hear she is okay.
ReplyDeleteGlad little Katie is OK. She is so cute!
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear Katie has recovered from whatever it was. Hate it when the fur kids have something wrong.
ReplyDeleteWhat is wordless Wednesday?
ReplyDeleteMy dog Lady was always limping from walking on the grass in the west as it's full of stickery things. She always loved going back east because of the soft grass.
ReplyDeleteSuch a photogenic dog! Good thing her mom likes to take photos!
ReplyDeleteDon't you just hate it when they hurt? They can't tell you what is wrong. I'm glad she took care of it herself. Now she and mom both feel better.
ReplyDeleteOur friend's dog got stung by a fire ant and acted the same way Katie did. Could that have been the reason this time?
ReplyDeleteawwwwwwww
ReplyDeleteI had a Yorkie act like that one time and turned out she had something pop out of joint, like a toe the Dr said. Like your dog she was better the next day.
ReplyDeleteChica has done that at times and wouldn't let me touch her foot. I think see may have picked up a sticker of some kind. The same as Katie, she is better in a day or two after mucho licking.
